The Gastroenterology and Hepatology clinics at the South Health Campus (SHC) are held in Clinic 7E on the 7th floor of the main building.  It is a multi-disciplinary clinic including physicians, nurse clinicians, research nurses, licensed practical nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and a social worker.

We see a variety of gastrointestinal conditions such as Barrett’s esophagus, Celiac disease, dyspepsia, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastrointestinal cancers, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The hepatology clinics see a variety of liver conditions with a special focus on viral hepatitis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Information on how to arrive at the clinic for your appointment is provided at the time your appointment is scheduled.  Walk-ins are not allowed. Please have your family doctor refer you to GI Central Access and Triage if you have a gastrointestinal condition and would like to see a specialist.

The SHC is served by 7 gastroenterologists and 1 hepatologist with University of Calgary appointments who are listed on the sidebar.
